Tracy Landis is a licensed loan officer who entered the mortgage industry in 1991. Tracy has held numerous positions in the mortgage industry: branch manager, processing manager, sales manager, loan originator and owner of a mortgage brokerage and a doc prep company. Her many years in the industry make her uniquely qualified to help her clients by structuring the best program and terms for their specific needs. Tracy attended Indiana University at Kokomo and IUPUI in Indianapolis with a major in English and Literature.
Tracy has a true passion for educating both her clients and her referral partners about the mortgage process and the industry as a whole. She spends several hours each week reviewing guideline revisions and keeping up with the ever-changing mortgage legislation. She takes a great amount of pride in providing superior service and believes that keeping all parties well informed and educated about the entire process is crucial to providing a happy lending experience. Tracy was recently featured in Karen Deis’ book, “Reinventing the Heel – The Mortgage Girlfriend’s Guide to Marketing,” highlighting how she has managed to remain successful in the mortgage business.
Tracy has been married to her husband David since 1987 and has two grown sons, Max and Jake. She also has two other family members, her Husky, Ozzy and her Shiba Inu, Nala. Tracy loves animals, history, traveling, computers, reading, and collecting anything old, especially antique pottery.
